We seek to build good relationships with local churches of all different types believing that there is plenty of room for each of us in our distinctive styles to see the kingdom come in Harrogate and the surrounding area.

We support and actively encourage the work and ministry of New Wine locally, regionally & nationally believing that God raises movements that renew the church in its mission. Mark and Penny Carey have been on the Leadership Team of New Wine North and East since the first Northern Summer Conference.

Mark and Penny are also permanent members of The Order of Mission a new monastic order of leaders committed under God to each other for the sake of mission. Because of this there is a potentially growing partnership with a network of churches that share similar values, many of which are led by Order of Mission members. Mark, since Autumn 2008 is the UK National Leader of The Order of Mission.

We take seriously our responsibility to give generously to further the work of movements, agencies and individuals that share our vision and values. Examples of this are New Wine, The Order of Mission, Harrogate Town Pastors. We also seek to give to support the work of people we are in relationship with such as Neil O’Boyle and his family who has a wide influence on the development of youth discipleship and evangelism in the Middle East and Andy and Susie Hart with CMS in Uganda.
