Central Gatherings
On the first and third Sundays of each month we hold a central gathering – the community of communities - at 10.30am normally at Westcliffe Hall, Harlow Terrace. These are informal cafe-style services with extended times of worship, bible-based teaching, children and youth work and lots of tea, coffee and cake. We have an expectation that we will always encounter Jesus in special ways at these gatherings by the power of the Holy Spirit.
9am Holy Communion

At 9am every Sunday our desire and vision is to meet together around Holy Communion praying for the vision and mission of the church and encouraging each other in reaching out to and caring for those who we relate to. This may mean that for some of us visiting takes on a special calling, for others it will be the call to prayer, for some it will be both. Some who gather will be involved in an MSC (mission shaped community) and will find support and encouragement at 9am on a Sunday. We prioritise prayer, the reading and preaching of the scriptures, fellowship and the breaking of bread as found in Acts 2:42
“They devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
Our worship at 9am is based on the Church of England’s liturgy as found in Common Worship.
