At Kairos we are seeking to release communities of followers of Jesus called Mission Shaped Communities (MSCs).
MSCs tend to meet in between our central gatherings which are held on two Sundays each month and vary the times they meet depending on their vision and strategy.
Kairos Mission Shaped Communities (MSCs) are committed to being and making followers of Jesus.
Each MSC is church in its own right…
- they seek to explore and work out a lifestyle of faith together
- they invest in relationship with God and each other
- they find distinctive ways of loving and sharing life with those in their neighbourhoods, communities and people groups.

Vision - Living life, sharing faith organically
We are a community of people seeking to live a genuine faith amongst ordinary people both inside and outside the Church. We want to know God more and worship Him in our everyday life. We often meet over a meal and encourage each other through stories and teaching. God is our priority as we live life and share faith organically through our respective social groups in family, community, workplaces and social circles. |

Vision - To make contact with those in the community who do not know Jesus in order to witness to them about his love for them.
We connect with people initially by participating in mutually enjoyed social activities, including a walking/exercise group, curry nights, a Sunday lunch group and by doing Street Surveys. If during our conversations with people we share about our faith in Jesus and they express an interest in knowing more we then invite them to an Alpha Course. For those who do not respond we continue in friendship with them and pray for them. |

Vision - Bringing hope and God’s love to the older people in our community
Elpis is Greek for 'Hope' - this sort of hope in the context of the Christian life means strong and confident expectation of good. We take services in care homes; Visiting and taking Communion to house- and home-bound older people. |
