Jesus regularly spent time in prayer, and He expected also that His disciples did likewise.

Each morning and during the day there is an opportunity to join together to pray.  Whether this be at the kairos office (Monday - Friday 9.00 - 9.30 am) or elsewhere, physically with others or with others only in mind.

This prayer booklet is something to help us all to do this.   You don’t need to follow it to the letter; it could be used simply as a framework, a lead-in to your daily prayer.  It can be used as part of a daily reading schedule you already use, or help introduce you to one.

Prayer is an important part of our lives as disciples of Christ.  It is not important how we pray or where we pray, but rather that we do pray, spending time with the Father, and listening to what He has to say to us both individually and as community.
