Do you have unused items cluttering up your home? Are you reluctant to throw them out but unsure what to do with them? Bring them along to the Kairos Eco Swap Shop!
What? An opportunity to give away books, adult or children’s clothes, toys, games, plants, small items of furniture, plants, kitchenware and household items, and find pre-loved items which you can repurpose, preventing them from going to waste. Meet with others who care for creation, exchange ideas, explore our information stall and enjoy some Fairtrade drinks and homemade cake.
Why? Many people are concerned about climate change and want to make a difference but don’t know where to begin. Come and be inspired with simple ways you can change your lifestyle to reduce your impact on the environment.
How? To donate good quality items please bring them after 3rd March at any of the following times:
Sundays during any of our gatherings at Westcliffe Hall
Mondays between 10am-4pm to the Kairos Office
Wednesdays during the Take Time cafe (10-11.30am – Westcliffe Hall)
At other times by arrangement via ecoteam@kairoschurch.net
N.B. Please don’t bring food, alcohol, sharp knives, faulty or broken items or anything very large!
There is no charge for this event. All financial donations will be given towards helping Westcliffe Hall move towards Net Zero and the Knaresborough Forest Park project. All items donated and not taken during the event will be given to local charity shops.
