We’re also recruiting for a Part Time Youth Leader.

Are you committed to serving young people and determined to see them enjoy life with Jesus?

We are looking for a gifted leader to lead our youth team and develop our ministry.  This is a 20 hour post with a salary of £11-13,000 depending on experience.

Our youth provision currently reaches around 20 teenagers who meet twice a month on a Tuesday evening for a traditional youth club for games, tuck shop and relationship building. They also meet during the Sunday gathering once a month where they take a deeper look at the bible and prayer. We have a small team of amazing volunteers who run these sessions.

Many of our young people serve in the church in children’s ministry, tech, worship and hospitality teams. Some of them also connect with town-wide youth ministry, including a youth worship night once a month and a discipleship group for Y10-13s. There are also town-wide youth mentoring projects and schools work projects happening.

We would love to develop more connecting points for our young people which are places where safe, nurturing discipleship relationships can be built, they get to learn from peers and trusted adults, discover Jesus for themselves and contribute their gifts, passions and skills. We’d also love to work out the best ways of us being able to reach out to more young people in the town who don’t yet have a connection with any church.
