Create Space is our vision to revitalise Westcliffe Hall and build a space that helps us to better Love God, Build Community and Share Jesus.
A base for prayer, hospitality, training and collaboration
“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left.” Isaiah 54:2a
Here’s what we want to create:
- The Den – a bespoke space for young people to discover faith, make
connections and feel at home (at the west end of Westcliffe Hall). - Prayer Room – a permanent welcoming space where anyone can come at any time to pray, worship and spend time with God and others (in current office space).
- Workshop Room – a flexible space for meetings, training, conversation and creativity (in current office space).
As well as…
- Improved kitchen facilities across the site to enable greater and
easier hospitality - Improved disabled toilet facilities
- Improved energy efficiency
- More collaborative working space for teams and individuals.
We will also retain current use of the main Hall and the Kairos Room for worship, communities, family activities, eating, training as well as community bookings and more!

We’re inviting you to be part of something lasting. This isn’t just a building project – it’s a response to God’s invitation to us to be part of seeing lives transformed by His power through communities of disciples across the Harrogate area.
Ways to Get Involved
- Pray – we believe that God has called us to this and we need his wisdom, provision and courage to see this through.
- Fundraise – could you plan something that helps raise money for the project?
- Give – financially or practically. Do you have a skill that might be useful? Talk to us!
We have a little bit of money in the bank to get us started and we will also be seeking grants from external funders for specific elements of the project. The whole project is estimated to cost around £240,000 and we will need to raise a significant portion of that.

- You can make a one-off gift by card by clicking the button below.
- Cash or cheque in an envelope marked ‘Create Space’ brought to the Office or any Kairos event at Westcliffe Hall.
