Trustees
Kairos Trustees oversee the organisational life of Kairos. They help make sure we make good use of our resources as a charity and are treating each other fairly and safely as we implement our vision.
Together with the Vision Team they offer big picture leadership to the church.
We have space for up to 2 more trustees. The right person, with a sense of call to the task, is more important than specific skill sets but areas where we recognise a need for more expertise include –
HR and Employment, Health and Safety, Communications
Trustees meet 6 times a year, usually on a Monday evening and are expected to participate in the Kairos AGM.
Deanery Synod Representatives
The Deanery Synod includes all the Church of England churches in the Harrogate area. We’re looking for 2 people to represent Kairos and share some of our stories with other churches.
Deanery Synod meets 4 evenings a year. You can find out a bit more about Harrogate Deanery at harrogatedeanery.org
These roles will be voted on at our AGM on 26th April 2026.

Treasurer Needed
We are looking for someone with book keeping experience and financial skills to become our new treasurer.

Welcome Team
We’re looking for a few people to help us welcome everyone coming to worship with us at Central Gathering, or 9am. This role simply requires you to be yourself and enjoy helping people feel at home. If you can help please contact Sarah at office@kairoschurch.net
PA and Tech Team
We’re looking for people who could help setup and run our PA and Laptop at Central Gatherings.
