The prayer room and community room at Westcliffe Hall is available for Kairos communities, teams and Kairos members to book and make use of.
If you would like to do so firstly please check whether the room you want is free on the date you require on the planner below, then please fill out the booking request form by clicking the button. Someone will then be in touch to confirm your booking and let you know how to access keys if it is outside of office hours.
Any problems or queries, please contact hall@kairoschurch.net
Other things to note:
- Tea and coffee making facilities are available to use. Teabags, speciality teabags, coffee (including decaf) and sugar are provided. You will need to bring your own milk and any biscuits or snacks you require. Please put dirty cups and plates etc in the dishwasher afterwards and turn it on if it is full or the end of the day.
- There are extra folding chairs and a whiteboard in the cupboard.
- There is a small First Aid kit in the kitchen cupboard in the community room.
We have noticed that sometimes people pop in when they notice that the prayer room is inhabited. This is great and part of how we want to see the prayer room used! You may however like to think about how you would respond to that. Options would include:
-
welcoming them to join you.
-
if you’re booking as an individual, consider bringing someone else along with you.
-
locking the door if you’d rather not be disturbed.
If at any point you find yourself in a situation you don’t feel comfortable with, please do lock the door, or leave, or contact Ben or Helen. In an emergency, ring 999.
Finally, we want these rooms to be a blessing to all who use them. If you have any feedback on how they could work better for you or your group please do let us know.
