The Baptism of Jesus – Who are you? Ben Askew
The Wedding at Cana – What is God doing? Andy Wilson.
In our Central Gatherings this term we are exploring some of the One Another statements from the New Testament and asking what we can learn from them as foundations for building community.
In this talk Andy Wilson and Liz Shores explore the idea of hospitality, of being welcomed by God and of sharing food with one another.
In this talk Darren McClintock shares about the importance of mercy, forgiveness and truthfulness in any community.
This term at our Central Gatherings we are exploring some of the “one another” sayings from the New Testament and looking to see what we can learn from these as we start to build community together. You can listen to the first three of these by following the links below.

We are so excited about Launch Week running from Monday 3rd to Thursday 6th September. We are going to be focusing on declaring God’s truth and our prayers will be based around speaking out truth together about who God is, who we are and who He calls us to be. I (Ben) have found that recently I’ve learnt some new things about this way of praying and found real power in declaring God’s truth over my life and our church. I can’t wait to share some of these things with you.
As well as 9am and 12noon prayers we are going to be gathering each evening from 5-8pm and these evenings will follow the pattern Pray, Eat, Pray.
5-6pm: Prayer for all ages. An opportunity for all the generations to pray together. There will be fun, creative and interactive ways to speak God’s truth out together.
6-7pm: Eat together. We are a family, let’s enjoy food together! We’ll have tea in the hall. If you are planning to eat any evening with us simply leave a comment below by the night before.
7-8pm: Declaring further. A final hour of worship and prayer. We’ll be listening to God, responding to what He says, whispering, speaking and maybe even shouting out truth.
You don’t have to stay for the whole evening! Come for the bits that work best for you. Going to a few of these, perhaps at the same time each day will give you a sense of journey during the week. At the very least I’d like to challenge all of you to make space to join us for at least one of these opportunities and see what God does as we pray together.
